ARTICLE I - CLUB NAME and Mission Statement
1. The name of this Organization shall be Christian Crawlers.
2. Mission Statement: We exist to provide a true family oriented off road experience full of good Christian values. Christian Crawler's vision is to grow to not only be a club but a community that reaches out to serve others not only within the club but to everyone in any way possible. We are passionate about building bonds and relationships that will withstand trials and tribulations.
ARTICLE II - PURPOSES AND AIMS
1. This Organization shall be non-profit in character, a ministry outreach, bringing together and promoting the interest of the Four Wheel Drive community as well as enjoying and preserving the beautiful world that God has created.
ARTICLE III - MEMBERSHIP
Must be a Christian.
Must be 18yrs of age or older.
***Individuals wishing to be members who are 16 or 17 years old may become members with a parent or guardian's written conscent.**
Own, or desire to own a 4x4 vehicle.
Attend two meetings and/or two events per year. Members who are active duty military or who are deployed will be excused.
Valid drivers license.
Has completed and turned in the following forms : Membership Application, Driver's Agreement, and Release Waiver.
ARTICLE IV - OFFICERS AND DUTIES
President - Shall be the executive officer and will preside at all Club Meetings. He/she shall have the duty of carrying out the policies and decisions of the Club Members.
Vice President - Shall assist President and will step in as President when President is not available.
Secretary - Shall record and publish Minutes of all Club Meetings; maintain the historical records of the Club; write any correspondence as directed by the Club; notify Club membership of meetings and events.
Treasurer - Shall receive all monies, be responsible for the bank deposits, and disburse funds as authorized. Give Treasury reports at meetings . He/she shall sign checks with the other club officers knowledge.
Spiritual Director - Lead Club in Bible studies and prayer during club events, also in charge of weekly Bible verse and weekly devotional
ARTICLE VII - MEETINGS
Meetings shall be held every quarter . Time and place at the discretion of the officers. Special meetings may be called one-half hour prior to the regular meeting for any designated purpose. Board meetings will be at the call of the President.
ARTICLE VIII - ELECTIONS AND VOTING
Nominations will take place by December 15th. Voting and appointment will take place January 1st.
ARTICLE IX - CHANGES TO BYLAWS
All changes to these Bylaws shall be submitted to the Secretary in writing prior to Meetings. Changes will be introduced and voted on at scheduled Club meeting. Changes shall require a two-thirds majority vote of present membership.
ARTICLE X - PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY
Robert's Rule of Order, revised, except where they conflict with the Holy Bible, and shall be the parliamentary authority in all matters not covered in these by-laws.
